Well it has come to my attention that Pat 4's are horrible. This being the general consensus I have banished mine to the stuff I don't use but can't toss area. The good news (I hope) is I dug out an old Harman-Kardon Concerto TP-200 that seems to work and has it's original Amperex tubes. The bad news is, it sounds pretty awful. I think a recap, good cleaning, and test of all tubes is in order. I did a search on Yahoo and found zilch. There are two twist locks and a bunch of what look like orange drops, but they are not orange. Anyway I can't see all the values, so I am looking for a schematic so I can have all the caps before I start. Also, I plan on keeping this, so I would like to use the best possible caps if anyone has a bar none favorite. Thanks as allways, Jay
Edit- Hey there's a funny rectifier in here! Looks like something off the charging circuit on a 68 Honda motorcycle. Do I need to give it any special attention? I got all the cap values but one is throwing me a little. It is a cardboard tubular dry electrolytic rated at 50uF @ 25vdc but also has a rating of 40VSP? Whats that mean? Is it special? Thanks, Jay
