I have a iMac Blueberry G3/333Mhz with 160MB RAM, 10GB Hard Drive and OS-X 10.3 installed.

Based on estimates from the UPS Store, shipping will be ~$50.

I want $100 for it, or will trade it for a nice pair of Polk Monitor 7s.

Thanks for viewing.

Your going to have a hard time with this one. You can't limit yourself to just the Polks which cost around $300, kind of a bad trade for a $75-100 iMAC, wouldn't you say? I could use an OSX computer; is there anything else you need? I have a lot of extra receivers, and a couple of cd players. BTW, I didn't know that a tray-load iMAC could handle OSX 10.3.

The 7s may have been $300 new, but they consistently go for ~$100 on Epay. I don't think it's an unfair deal, just one that may be hard to do. I was hoping one of the AKers that have 2, 3, or more sets may want the iMac.

You're not the first person to comment on Panther on the tray-loader, but it works very well. It's not the fastest thing on the market, but it's stable.

Put in as much RAM as it'll take (512MB, IIRC), and that 333 will do just fine running Jaguar.

On the black Macbook I used to use which was 500 MHZ and 512 mb ram, it would only run 10.3.9. Nothing higher.

It was a good machine for just about everything.

MacBook Pro's are just a tad bit better :naughty:

Need a subwoofer?????? A big one......

I'm running 10.3.6 right this very minute on a G3/300, 192 MB total RAM, Tangerine Clamshell iBook.

Fast? uh... no.

Stable? You betcha!

I love these clamshells - I think it's the most durable design I've ever owned in a laptop. This one has hit the ground several times, had cords ripped out the side plugs (would you people watch where you're walking!!!) and I have one "stressed" screw (small fractures in the case around it) and have had the modem port broken internally ($9.95 replacement used). Oh, yeah, on my second battery and charger too. I've had this little guy since Summer of 2000.
