Co-Worker has a 700C for $150. It looks great and everything seems to work fine. I don't really have an use for it but thought about putting in on Ebay. Does this price sound reasonable and low enough to turn it for a few bucks?

They are rare and seldom come up on eBay. You should be able to get $300 on eBay, easily, more with a nice description and photos.

I call second's if Scott doesn't want it. :D

Your co-worker friend wouldn't happen to have the matching 700M & 700T by any chance would he. :smoke:

Sorry, only has the 700c. My friend has agreed to let me take it home this weekend. I'll report on what I found after I give it a thorough checkout.

You may be looking at hard feelings with your co-worker if he finds out how much you sell this for on ebay. If you were going to keep it be very happy for what you bought it for. However, since you are just going to flip this, how about offering to ebay it for him and keeping 10%-20% of the sale price. You could also list it on the classifieds here since you deemed us worthy of giving you selling price info.

I'd call "third's" and promise to clean it & feed it and give it a nice home.

$150, even if you decide you don't like it (for whatever reason), you can easily double your money. I have one as the preamp in my main system, which aint no slouch. I say go for it.

If anyone is still interested in a 700C, I have one listed in the AK classified. Will consider all reasonable offers.
