Have gotten some good advice from Joel a couple of times. He actually talked me out of buying one of his tt-s because he didn't want me to be disappointed. Very unusual these days!!!!!!!
It's a shame cause now I have a Dual I would like to send to him.

Joel is good people.

Very sorry to hear the news - Joel is a dedicated enthusiast who has probably done more for the vintage turntable movement than anyone else.

Get well soon!

A quick exchange of e-mails a few years ago with Joel convinced me to try and fix my Dual myself. Wonderfully encouraging man, doing what he loves, we should all be so blessed. With all our thoughts and prayers he will be fine.

Joel is a great guy, helped me out on more than one occasion. I think the problem is he needs someone at his shop to help him do his work, I don't think his condition has gotten too much worse, but I wish him all the best nonetheless... I think his help took off on him causing him to refuse work for now if I read that right. He may have trouble lifting and packing orders.

If I lived closer to him I would quit my cruddy job @ the golf course and try to learn the art of turntable restoration and repair..

You rule JOEL!!! :thmbsp:
