Ok, my best turntable is a Sony PS5520 (stop snickering)......I as amazed recently when i replaced the cheapish Audio Technica cart with an old Grado Black (now out of my hands). To my ear the sound was fuller and more detailed.
Now I am on the hunt for a new cart. I'd LIKE to also get one that has a high frequency respopnse range so that I can play through a quadraphonic CD-4 setup. The CD-4 reproduction requires the cart to pick up to at least 30kHz to 40kHz or so...........
I can just search the net, but asking here first...........

Thanks

I've never had a CD-4 setup so I don't know what the cartridge requirements are but the frequency stats on the Grado Black are 10Hz - 55kHz which is pretty wide.
