A couple months ago, after we figured out we were almost neighbors, Cosmicdust and I got to discussing local shops to buy used vinyl. He told me about a shop I didn't even know sold vinyl and mentioned that in conjunction with a street festival held where the store is they have a big $.20 vinyl sale.

Went to the sale yesterday and picked up about 80 albums that I had to lug the 5 blocks to the car.

The unbelievable thing is that I decided to look throught the unmarked down albums and found a very rare limited production album I'd been looking for for years. I'm a caver and the local grottoe produced an album of cave balads that tell of the singer/songwriters, David Foster's, experiences on various cave trips. I know a number of the people involved in the stories. I'd say < 1000 copies (or whatever the minimum) were made and the album has been unavailible new for years.

Generally you can only find a copy of the album at conventions when the owner puts one up in an auction or yardsale. I've been looking for it for about 10 years since I first heard a copy. I know others that have been looking longer.

Most of the time when you can find a copy of "Nylon Highway" it's going to cost you atleast $25.00. Guess what I got mine for?

:banana::banana: :D :D $5.00 :D :D :banana: :banana:

Thanks Cosmicdust.
