My friend who has more money than sense has a 2 channel HT set-up. . .A HK 3475 receiver, a subwoofer for each speaker and a 5400 dollar 38in LOEWE TV brand new. . . .He loves it and it does a nice job with his first love, music. The subs rattle your innards for effect. . .After about 10 minutes into a movie you dont realise it anyway. . .

Ah the famous Yammie speakers! Is that your HT? Mebbe someday I will have a house big enough for a dedicated HT with a screen like that! Last night I watched LOTR the two towers with my GF and she is a real downer man! I usually watch a movie with the volume on -20 or so, she made me turn it down to like -45, she bitched thru the whole movie about how loud it was and I could barely hear it!!!

my brother in-law who is a very talented bass player and sound technician
told me that a good ear cleaning will make wonders.
said somthing about some sort of candle that the nears
will light in your ear,it will exstract all the wax out
scarrrrry
maybe that is why my wife likes to listens in very high volume
should never tell her about this treatment :p:
love those yammies thay can realy rock

I just purchased a Royd AV77 center channel speaker, to match my other two speakers. If I decide to do a dedicated HT, I will be ready with timbre matched front speakers!!
