OMG !

If you have any old vinyl that you really would love to listen to again, but your spoiled by the quiet stuff, THIS IS THE TOOL FOR YOU. From lite clicks, pops or hiss to the stuff you can't even listen to because it is so bad, this thing is MAGIC. I just ran Muddy Waters at Newport 1960 / Chess High Fidelity through. I wouldn't listen to this because it was so bad. You fully control four levels in two catagories; Descratcher - click/crackle and Denoiser - threshold/reduction. "I Got a Hold on You" came out as clean as my new heavy vinyl Folk Singer. WOW !

gotta go back and do some more.

Thanks, Wardsweb- I was thinking of something along these lines.

I took your input and ordered one for myself.

How do I explain this to my wife?

"How do I explain this to my wife?"

You just tell the little lady that you had it all along or my personal favorite is I traded some gear for it. It usually stops a huge fight :D

I used the site Wardsweb had posted on his intial thread in New Tech.

I believe these WILL become available at Musician's Friend, Zzzounds, etc, but right now they only list the soundcard model.

These sites will save you the shipping, as they always have free shipping on orders over $100.

I've been thinking about this thing all week.

Ward can you expain a little more on how this works?

Can you play a record real time, process it through your computer and have it play back into your stereo cleaned up? Or is it simply one way, to burn CD on your computer? It sort of sounds like it meerly a way to hook a TT directly to your computer.
