I bought the two disc DVD set and it's absolutely fantastic !

They don't look like they did back in the day! Nor do I :D

But they sound so polished on each and every song, after a long break or many breaks...

The picture quality as well as the sound quality is worth the 20 clams or so IMO!

Eagles, what can I say, one of my all time favorite bands and they still play and sound great together. :thmbsp:

The Eagles SUCK!!! I'm kidding but I'm still pissed about the FIRING of Don Felder, he is a very underrated guitar player. :guitar:
I thought they were all friends again??? Apparently Not!! :dunno:
So I will not buy any more of their DVDs or any future CDs.
BTW where is their new album at anyway??? It's been a long time since 1994 when they reunited. Is it just for the money??

They WERE one of my favorites too but the firing of Don Felder really did suck IMO!!
It was Felder who came up with the guitar riffs that inspired the creation of Hotel California, the Eagles greatest song and one of the greatest rock songs ever.

I was just watching/listening to that DVD the other night in between cooking dinner, a great piece of work and well worth the money.

What a great show. The recording is excellent. My jbl's put me in the front row. If you like the Eagles, you owe it to yourself to own a copy of this concert dvd.

Joe Walsh's entertainment value is worth the price alone! :thmbsp: :D

It was cool of them to incorporate some solo numbers too. 'You Belong To The City' was awesome! I really wish 'The End Of The Innocence' had been included in the setlist too though.

As a side note, is it just me, or is Glenn Frey's mic a bit too hot on the treble? I had to turn the treble down to -4db when cranking it to tame down his voice, which is a shame because it dulls down all the other instruments too :(.

I had to add bass. But it's probably because I was playing it on my crappy surround receiver. I need to hook up the big guns and watch it again.

I should have added that I was watching the DTS soundtrack. Bass seemed plenty (and I hadn't even switched on the subwoofer!)

I really like watching this at high volume. I think the recording is great and sounds wonderful at near concert levels on the stacked BA 150/100. It is also one of the few things that I can crank up and the wife will come sit down and never say that it's too loud.

I agree that it was a shame Don Felder left (was fired by) the Eagles - definitely an underrated guitar player and far more enjoyable to listen to than Joe Walsh IMO.
