Good morning my fellow home theater buffs! I recently purchased a home theater system, Onkyo tx nr1000 (73 lbs beast) and Infinity beta 50 fronts and 4 beta 20's for surround and rear surround and an Infinity beta center, it sounds very sweet so far amazed at how it thunders low and I dont even have a subwoofer yet, I did auto speaker set up and calibration so far---it's going to take day for me to figure this beast out (to many do dads) on this beast, any way Does anyone own or know this receiver? It runs extremily hot--I mean (HOT), and I noticed that all the upper Onkyos were very hot just sitting there on display with no speakers on them, Called Onkyo and they said that this is very normal, Is there Onkyo owners that noticed how hot these are? I mean HOT! I worry after paying all that money for a premium beast like this! tx sr703 and tx sr803, and tx nr 1000 all run HOT! if its normal than I shall not worry, I just wanted to see what you think of the heat, any recomendations? thanx in advance! the bird
