Hello
I picked up a set of these this weekend. Haven't had a chance to audition yet. What should/could I expect from these...are they similar to say the KG4's?
Thanks

I haven't heard them, but here (http://www.klipsch.com/product/product.aspx?cid=150&s=specs) are the specs, from Klipsch.

My brother just bough a pair, very treble happy, great mids, bass is narrow. Them seemed to be working very hard when we turned the Marantz 2238B up. They almost started to complain on the bass, but we had the loudeness on. Once loudness was off, they were OK, but would have been nice to hear deeper bass out of them. THe 12" passive in the back is just a waste.
Just my opinion...

I'm using a DBX "Boom Box" to Help out in the bass department :D

You agree then that they might be bass poor? Kind of afraid to say that here... :scratch2:

Well I did an A/B comparision with my KG4's and yes the bass is as you said "narrow"

I have owned a pair of T-50's since 1989.(paid $1970.00) These speakers are very solid and can throw alot of bass but they have to be placed (45*) angle in the corners of the room. I have pused them with Yamaha,Kenwood,Pioneer,Harmon but found the sound best with a plain Yamaha Amp.100+W/p/c. If you can purchase so,e 12-15" high speaker stands with a slight backwards tilt and place these T-50's in corners(18") away from the wall and watch the windows vibrate! If u don't mind me asking how much are they worth these days?
