What is the ideal room placement for Cornwalls? Do they like corners? How far from the back wall and/or side wall? How far apart from each other is optimal?
Thanks!

John pmsummer 08-28-2006, 07:32 PM In a paper in "Dope from Hope", Paul Klipsch recommended placing Cornwalls in the corners of a room, firing out at 45 degrees (just like Klipschorns). I'm running mine that way against my 14' short wall (the back edges against the baseboards), and it sounds great. bentpencil 08-28-2006, 08:19 PM Since recently purchasing my first Klipsch speakers (KG4s), and being very satisfied with their performance, I believe that the best placement tor your Cornwalls would be in MY living room. I'll PM you my address, and you can deliver them at your convenience! :D (They're on my wish list) mhardy6647 08-28-2006, 09:25 PM umm, Jon, they're called Cornwalls 'cause they can be placed in the CORNer or on the WALL. PWK wasn't naming them after southwest England! :-) I have mine in corners; due to spousal considerations, mine are the corners on a short wall, but the long wall is preferable I do believe. They like large spaces. crackerkorean 08-29-2006, 08:35 AM I feel so bad becuase I was the one who suggested rearranging the listening area, and then left for home. When you mean on the wall you mean literally right up against the wall? mhardy6647 08-29-2006, 09:32 AM Yes, they were 'meant' to be placed against the wall. If one had a room big enough, it might be very interesting indeed to pull them out from the walls and corners and position them like modern, boutique speakers. I do not have such a room. pmsummer 08-29-2006, 09:34 AM umm, Jon, they're called Cornwalls 'cause they can be placed in the CORNer or on the WALL.
