My interest is the defective CA-1000. What would be a reasonable offer knowing that I would then drive it up to Merrylander for a transfusion of his Yamaha magic?

BTW: My interest is *very* lukewarm, I really have no need for this amp, but, this *is* AudioKarma, after all, isn't it??? Anyway if someone out there wants it bad, just say so and I'll step aside...

Thanks for any pointers -- I was thinking in the range of $40 or $50. Would that be too high?
