DIY Khorns

Has anybody here built their own horns from plans??
What is the experience, how does it compare to the factory units??

a shame that klipsch forum is down...there are many there...althought they will probably come here...have built their own Klipsch TYPE speakers...many have made modifications that have improved the sound or equalled new...then there are the hybrid, Cornscala etc...good luck and check over there when it is back up.

I saw something a while back that appeared to be Khorn based, but much smaller. Certainly home built out of scrap, but it might have sounded good.
