Heresy's

I picked up a pair of Heresys in a trade for a tube amp. They have some discoleration on the tops but the drivers are mint. They are HWO 1982 models I believe. Any idea how to decipher the dates of these drivers.

Numbers are 41RO81. I'm assuming 1981?

I believe R is 1977...possibly AlNiCo magnets (round domes on rear of speakers)...nice.

Right you are. Bass drivers are ceramic but the tweeters and mids are alnico.
