From the discription and the little I've been able to find out about it sounds like it was a nice cartridge in it's day. I'd of bid on it but was to late. The one time I didn't search Epay for Stanton stuff this thing goes for a BIN.

If I remember correctly, it was a balanced and blueprinted 881, so it would have been a VERY nice cartridge! Would love to hear one.

I have an 881S with broken needle that came with a TT I bought. I wonder if it is worth buying a needle for. I heard you can meter the connections on the back to see if the cartridge is usable? Like 1000 ohms or something?
