Tried to enlarge the picture and zoom in but still can't tell. Why not just e-mail the seller and ask?

They look like speakers for a small, stereo compact or (judging by the booklet between them) cassette recorder. They might contain decent Japanese fullrange drivers (e.g., Fostex, Mitsubishi/Diatone, etc.), but they look pretty junky to me.

The cosmetics are making me think "Superscope", and 1970's, not 1960's.

... but I am just ruminating.

Go ahead and email the seller if you must to make a decision about buying, but lets not let actual knowledge get in the way of the fun of IDing speakers etc. The best part of AK for me is trying to guess the identity of components I sort of remember. And, of course, there is the pleasure of showing off when I actually know the answer.

I agree it is more fun!

I haven't heard back yet.

yeah, but Nat, you didn't even guess!?!

I guessed.

I've got "Superscope" in the pool.
I'd take some side action on "Radio Shack", too...
