It doesn't seem like a lot of discussion is going on about satellite radio. So I thought I would start a thread.

I have had XM for almost a year now and have been really enjoying it. I know the sound quality is not as good as FM but the variety blows FM away. I listen at work and in the car so fidelity is not my main concern and for the most part I think it sounds pretty darn good.

Growing up in the 70’s-80’s I am really into the alternative rock from that era so I listen to a lot of Fred on 44 it brings back memories of college radio from the day.

Some of the other channels I am into:

Deep Tracks on 40
Top Tracks on 46
Ethel on 47
Lucy on 54
The 40’s on 4
Real Jazz on 70
And every once in a while I find myself listening to the open road on 171 a show for truckers. Why I have no idea?

So I was wondering what channels are you listing to?

Besides the Sports talk channels, I listen to:

Real Jazz
Blues
Big Tracks
Franks Place
Deep Tracks (mainly during the Dylan hour)
Soul Street
Bluegrass Junction

I do listen to most of the channels every now and then. It really just depends on my mood. Real Jazz is my favorite music channel. :thmbsp:
