I have really enjoyed reading this tread. In fact I have gone online and ordered several of items recommended.
However ,I have been surprised by the number of defected items I have received .I ordered 5 items from different sources and three items where defective
DVD-Video: Pink Floyd Pulse which is a 2 DVD set disc one did not play disc two did.Sacd copy of Jim Hall's Concierto ,only plays two channels
and sacd copy of Miles Davis's Bitch Brew only plays two channel .I check my player against other multi channel disc I already had they work fine .
I'm on a string of bad luck or is there a lot of bad product out there

last year I bought 3 copies of the Who Tommy sacd in multichannel gave up none of them would play all the way through till the end without skipping and freezing! everything else I have plays fine.

I had problems with the Tommy SACD too! The multi-channel stopped working completely and then started working again all on the same MVP861. How is this possible???

No QC at the pressing plant would be one reason..
