I got a free year of Sirius with my new ride. I never thought I'd go for sat radio but it's pretty nice. It'll take a couple weeks to get a grip on the stations. Sound quality doesn't seem to have that strong FM body to it, but what the heck, free trial.

They make home kits for most of the receivers that include a 3mm to RCA adapter which I have connected to my amp.

The nice thing is that Sirius offers a serious discount on the second unit on your subscription so it should only cost you $6/mo for the additional receiver.

Also, they were just running specials on the Starmate R receiver such that if you bought the Home Kit and commited to 6 months, the receiver is free. I'm not sure if they are doing that still.
