I just received my new DAC yesterday. http://www.pacificvalve.us/LTDACAHM.html
I plan on getting an upsampler and tube buffer to finish shaping the sound of my DVD player. I will use for the moment as my transport. Then maybe onto getting things moddified. Right out the box the unit has a lot more bottom end so far. I will give it a more serious listen in a few days, that will give it more of a break in period. Hopefully my cables I ordered for it will be here by then to.

I have the same model. Give it plenty of time to burn-in. To my ears, the bass tightened and the highs smoothed after some hours on it.

Keep us posted! :music:

Is your modified? What transport are you using?

Yeah, I got the modified version. I use a Pioneer PD-75 as a transport. I also use a Musical Fidelity X-10v3 tube buffer. I am curious as to why you would want an upsampler considering the LiTe is NOS?

I was told by Pacific Valve that they just offered the Upsampler for use with the NOS DAC. And the Results were stellar. So I figured why not. The NOS will correct any errors from the upsampler being upstream of it. The Monarchy DIP can be had
