They're big and they boom. For $30 how can you go wrong if you've got the room?


Oops... can't delete. I was thinking of the Nova 9's, but heck, for $30 I still think it's worth a look see.

Thanks. Its more of a psychological game...........the only room without speakers is the kitchen now..........


Ive added a pic of some optimus 9's. apparently they were a precurser to the Mach-1's.

They have a rear facing grill and a setting for a hard or soft wall covering.

That's a rather bizarre layout but, if you can fit 'em in it seems worth a try. That looks like a sealed enclosure so that woofer should be well damped.

Are you saying the side shown will be facing the wall? ...or that there are drivers on the back as well as the front?

The rear of the enclosure is open only behind the midrange 3some seakers as shown.
