I've been away for awhile and noticed the migration from AU to this fine site. So I got registered and this is my first post.

Spoke to the mOOm back from vacation l suspect he'll appear soon.

I'm so grateful to kamakiri that l'll pay him Orion book value for his large Pioneer and that Sansui G22000;)

Hi Chris,

Wow, I've been busy doing spring cleanup chores. Yard work, getting the garden planted, cleaning out the attic, garage and basically gettin' rid of things. I tell ya, after 12 years of living in this house I am amazed at how much stuff accumulates. Got a few more fires to put out but everything's under control.

Haven't found any new gear (haven't really looked hard either). I have increased my CD collection substantially though. Music is a passion as much as the gear that plays it. So much I haven't heard yet.

Hey Sixcats, if you're reading, I bought Bill Miller's "Raven in the Snow" CD. It is equally fantastic but I prefer "Ghostdance" He has a new release coming out very soon. I look forward to getting that. Sorry, I had to deep six Leonard Cohen. Just could not get into his music.

Anyway, glad to be back on board. Take care guys.

Dry...I'm glad you enjoyed "ghostdance" as much as I did.
Bill has a new CD coming out in July and it should be excellent. It is more "Blues" than the other CD's. Gee...sorry you
didn't like Cohen...I REALLY dig his stuff however...it is a VERY
acquired tast like....Sushi,Dark Beer,Butter Milk,Hot Peppers,
etc. Ummmmmm....I must be hungry...lol see ya later. SixCats!

Here it's the exact opposite, winter just started (around 10-15ºC, and at night around 0ºC)...

My most recent score is a computer which I made for free from other pieces. My idea is to use it as an mp3 machine and CDP, as my CD changer died.

As for actual audio components - my latest score as months ago: a TOTL Marantz 5420 deck, near mint for 30 US$.
