remember that marantz with the built in turn table? was it a # 28? My parents have one and ive never seen one since.

I think there were a couple, but the 28 was definitely one of them.

EDIT: The electronics are the same as the model 26. The 26's are fairly common (I have one in my basement) and are thought by many to be quite a good sounding, low powered receiver.

I bought a model 28, but it didn't have the built in TT, in 1974. It was a great sounding receiver. I powered a pair of AR 2ax speakers with it and used an AR turntable for records.
