View Full Version : Mans' best friend: his LOUDSPEAKER!
ARRAY 10-20-2006, 01:17 PM Oh man, haha. Yeesh. What a way to start the weekend.
Let me take a wild guess, the drivers use "Alpomax" magnets.
For only 600 euros these papertrained thoroughbreds can be yours.
If you are brave, take a gander:

soundboy 10-20-2006, 02:05 PM That's a creepy photo. Quite a pair of "woofers" though.

You beat me to it!
Clmrt 10-20-2006, 02:54 PM Wonder where you stick the wire....
acronym 10-20-2006, 03:07 PM friend of mine had them. he returned them shortly afterwards... he said they sounded...
wait for it..
a bit ruff
Tedrick 10-20-2006, 04:14 PM They probably do a great job of keeping the cat off the sofa.
Those look like they'd be a bit light in the bass. You'll need the TOTL Great Dane model to get full-range sound, or add the Bassett Hound sub-woofer.
I just hope they're house broken.
bentpencil 10-20-2006, 04:18 PM I hear the company also sells hard drives..........................
Blue Meanie 10-20-2006, 08:12 PM Like George Carlin once said:
"Nail together 2 pieces of something that have never been nailed together before, and some schmuck will buy it from you"
Now I've seen the proof!

thedelihaus 10-20-2006, 08:29 PM I'd love to use 'em in the home theater to watch Cujo, or Old Yeller, through.
My audio book of Call of the Wild would be stunning through them.
Later, I'd spin some George Clinton And The Funkadelics Atomic Dog, Elvis' Hound Dog, Ozzy's Bark at the Moon, maybe some Gnarls "Bark"ly and Snoop Dogg if tha pah-tee gits jumpin'...
It'd be purrr-fect for that...
ashnut 10-20-2006, 08:59 PM I guess you could say his bark is worse than his bite.
I'd say this thread is getting long in the tooth. And like an old book, a little dog eared.

melofelo 10-20-2006, 10:11 PM bet they rival the b&w matrix for internal deflection of standing waves... :scratch2:
jimfet 10-20-2006, 10:36 PM I'll shit down his throat. If offinded I be sorry. Just had a few shots with my bro.
ARRAY 10-21-2006, 12:25 PM Hey, at least a man doesn't have to pick up after these speakers...
RussinOhio 10-21-2006, 01:51 PM Yikes! Head-less dog statues are weird! Even in the form of "clever" electronics. I've never seen that before! Those speakers would freak me out out too much to have in the house, but oh yeah...I get it! Woofers! as in...woof..woof! How cute, I guess!
Whoever designed those had some serious issues.
