FYI. Sam Tellig gave a favorable review (4 pages) of the La Scala in the November issue. Nice review and he bought them which I guess says it all. Dennis Had of Cary Audio bought a pair too. Hopefully, they will get around to the rest of the heritage series.

I know it shouldn't matter (I believe speakers are ultra-subjective and room dependent) but I wanted to see measurements.

I was also glad to see a favorable review of the Lascala. Even though no speaker is perfect the larger Klipsch models are darn good and fun to own and listen to.

Glad to hear that, jimmy666. They (and the discontinued Belle Klipsch and Heresy IIIs) also lack bass response...nothing a decent subwoofer couldn't fix (and I used a 15" DIY powered sub when I used my '79 Cornwalls, which like the Klipschorns are not that bass shy). If I owned the sweet La Scalla IIs, I'd have no reservations in using an active subwoofer (or two) with them.
