Bigger picture, thinner frames, more color, and blacker blacks. Mitsubishi is showing off a working model that uses lasers instead of mercury bulbs to power their 2007 line of large screen DLP units. WOAH!

that looks like a cool project. I'm hopin they will solve the brightness and angle viewing problems. Can't wait to see what it will look like in action next year.

The tech came from a small comapny in australia and there are some big names behind them. I hope something really comes from it. I have been holding out on getting anohter TV and I still like my Sony WEGA 27" CRT.
