This is a neat little JVC set. I didn't know they were making tv's back then.

I don't think that set is from the 60's. The JVC logo back then was different, more like jVc, with the J and C in small caps. Also the name Nivico was used at one time (Nippon Victor Co.) A 60's set would also not have a varactor tuner as is descibed on this ebay set.

I saw this listing earlier today, and it made me foul.... LOL! I hate when sellers on eBay list something and have NO clue to what they are talking about. Come on.......Late 50's early 60's on this set? Uh-huh. Looks like late 70's- 1980's vintage to me. Also a starting bid of $200.00!!!! What the hell?? I think I will be more annoyed if anyone is stupid enough to bid that much! Also while I am on a "rant", check out this post http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2187569841&category=3638 It's a cool TV, but when you read the description it appears the seller is doing alot of "double-talk". Does this set work or not??? When you first read it, you would think so, but read it again more carefully and I think not. I think I will e-mail em' and ask flat out, Does it work? Show me! Thanks for letting me "vent"!! What are your thoughts??????
