any thoughts about infinity 3000's. I found a pair pretty cheap that needed refoaming and they are pretty mellow after the fix. any idea what these could be worth, they are in very good shape and sounding very 70's.

wasn't interested in selling the 3000's just was wondering if the refoaming effort is worth it,it took a Sat morning to do it and when you spend one you can't get 'em back. coulda been at the golf course,ya know.

sneaks,
The 3000's are from a great series that Infinity put out. I personally love all of the loudspeakers from that series. They are definitely worth it.

thanks,Vito. I am pretty new into the vintage audio and sometimes another opinion is needed. Of course, if you like it you like it and I hate to see something made so well end up in the trash when only some foam and a bunch of effort can make them usable again. and besides I really liked the sound when they were done. This was the first time I refoamed any speakers and I have to admit I was surprised they same out so well.

I"ve a pair of these also didn"t like them very much at first. But one night I was bored so I stuck some crossovers in them that I had saved from a beat up pair of Advent 6003"s perfect fit. Totaly changed everything and now they are one of my very best pair.

I've got a pair that I just replaced with a better pair, so I want to sell them. Does anyone have any idea what I should ask for them?
