...alright, alright...enough guffawing.
Will anyone be watching tonight? I admit that I have grown a bit fond of Country Music this past year, so I will be awatchin'. I need something to distract me from the stresses of work...light entertainment. Makes me want to have some barbeque n' beer, but I'm in chilly New England.
It'll be interesting to see how much politics will enter into the acceptance speeches on this eve of the mid-term elections (no political statements...PLEASE!).

If I were to watch it, I'd watch it with the sound down. Country has some of the hottest chickies.

I was going to watch it, but I had to take my girlfriend back to the sheep farm.

Hee Hee Hee.
Well, I watched about half overall. Flipped between another channel when someone came on that I couldn't stand...like...uh...Gretchen Wilson (sorry!).
I enjoyed probably about 5 or 6 performances--George Strait being one and some of the old footage. Gotta love the hair!

I half watched it, flipping channels throughout. I thought the highlight of the parts I saw was Faith Hills reaction when Carrie Underwood got female vocalist of the year award. I have never really been interested in country music, but since we moved to the Nashville area 6 years ago I have grown to like it more. It is kind of neat to run into some of the singers as you shop and go out to eat. A bunch of them live within a few miles of us. There is aso quite a few semi-washed up rock guys around too.

Now her front man (publicist) is spreading the story that she was only joking when she did that.
Who's to say? Didn't look like she was trying to be funny to me...

Pooey on new country, lol! Give me the music from when they knew how to sing it! In 2004 (I think) it wasn't some rehashed rocker who won a Grammy for best country album, but it was Loretta Lynn! Her and George Jones and the rest of the oldies can run laps around these new wanna-be's!
