..He was 57, died back on 25 Sept of this year. They had a hit in '67, "A Little Bit O'Soul", which was pretty good for bubblegum. He was from Ohio originally, lived in the Myrtle Beach area at the time of his death. Hate to see that, they were a minor group, but about everyone around most AKer's ages remembers that song. Don't think it's too presumptious to say most of us prolly remember it fondly, too...RIP, Jamie !

R.I.P. Jamie
Ed Bradley passed today. I always listened to the Jazz At Lincoln Center he narrated and Riverwalk radio programs he usually narrated as well as enjoying his 60 Minutes work over the years.

Ed Bradley was one of the best in the field of television journalism.
"Little Bit O Soul" has an infectous riff and was better than most of your typical Top 40 fluff.

Not to take anything away from Jamie Lyons death, and this should be in a another thread/forum altogether, but I am really saddened by the loss of Ed Bradley. I am an avid 60 Minutes watcher/fan and always enjoyed his television journalism. The news of his death was complete shock and it's my understanding that he kept his illness a secret. He will be missed.

RIP Ed Bradley
RIP Jamie Lyons

I will miss him especially for the jazz shows on the radio. I rarely missed those on Sunday evenings.
