The cablevision guy came this morning to hook me up. I had been getting the Pioneer Elite VSX-99, the two VCRs, the amp for the center speakers, etc., reconnected since moving.
The new cable thing is the Time Warner Digital box, and a remote control that seems to require an EE degree to figure.
Gawd, there are a kazillion channels!
Still need to get the rear surrounds hooked up.
Got boxes all over the floor, been trying to sort out speaker wire, patch cords, and such. Two hundred feet of 12 ga. speaker wire in a box is heavy.
Heard the replay of the explosion at that hotel in Bagdad through the HT. With two 15-inch powered subwoofers, the thing really rumbled. What a crazy, foolish thing to happen.
