Just finished an hour and a half of playing "loud stereo" with my wife - we turn up the stereo to the loudest we find enjoyable, and take turns picking individual tracks to play. Tonight we laughed out loud at "Big Balls" by AC/DC, grooved to "Heaven is in Your Mind" by Traffic, sobbed together to "Mercy Now" by Mary Gauthier, and listened to a bunch of other tracks that let us focus on what has really grabbed each of us as we listen day to day. I highly recommend this game :thmbsp: :music: :music: :music:

Sounds like great fun!

Whenever I ask my SO what she wants to hear, she almost always says, "you pick". Every now and again she'll make a request. I'll have to try this game and see how it goes.

Happy listening!:music:

The game my buddies and I play with our guests and each other is "drop the needle". The object is to play something your Buddie or guest will like but has not heard before.:smoke:

We play that here at parties. Upstairs is 'the Lounge'. We play vinyl only upstairs. Digitalia remains downstairs. Drop the needle is a great name for it! I'm gonna steal it!

On the local Classic rock station they have been playing a game called "Connect the Classic's" where you pick a starting song. Say for this example we use "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap" by AC/DC and then the next song has to start with the letter the song before ends with so in this case a letter P. And so on.

Sometimes this really digs up some great stuff rarely heard.
