Ok so I bought one of the cheap ugly black Pioneer PL-600s from that auction place. Now I have realized however that it is missing the counterweight.
So my question is there a place that I could purchase a replacement for it that wont cost more than this thing is worth?

No. It costs almost as much as you paid. Here's the link for Pioneer parts:

First of all, did you check the box and packing material to be absolutely sure that you didn't simply miss it when unpacking? Often it is removed (actually it should be) when packing. If you're sure don't have it, maybe contact the seller to obtain some compensation? Actually if you have the opportunity to return it and get a refund, that's probably you're best scenario. I'm just curious as to why you bought it in the first place?

Yeah, probably cost more than the table is actually worth to buy a counterweight for it. Back to the seller for a refund it you can. If not, keep it as a spare platform for cleaning records with, and go find yourself a bit better table.
