My only complaint is the packaging is a digipak, where the cd goes into a sleeve and your fingers end up on the cd. I'd run out and get it.I paid $16.99 at Future Shop.FS had the last two copies in the 4 record shops in Charlottetown. This was at 2PM Tuesday Alan Strangeband 11-17-2006, 09:24 PM I'm looking forward to hearing it soon. Thanks for the report. kbott 11-17-2006, 10:38 PM it's pretty good it showcases a really tight band ekimetsok 11-20-2006, 09:11 AM Just heard a couple of tracks on WXPN. Sounds like a surprisingly good quality recording, given it's vintage. Band sounds tight and remarkably well-rehearsed. winters860 11-20-2006, 09:29 AM Nice package. I know they could have culled more than 44 minutes worth of usable material from those two shows, though. Sound is very good, probably tweaked in the studio. The setlist is pretty close to Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere. Don't get suckered into buying the one-disc version without the DVD like I did. bozak ron 11-20-2006, 03:00 PM The reviews are all positive. Considering this music is the first recording to be released from Neil's vast personal library of live recordings, the sound is suppose to be first rate. I've always loved the Neil Young/Danny Whitten synergy. I'm planning on dropping in the local independent music store to buy a copy. Tonight's the night. |
