I thought you might enjoy spending a few days looking at one of the best resources for McIntosh info or maybe I'm just to much of a novice to know the difference. You be the judge.

I tried to download a service manual there for an mc2505 and it wont let me. Says that the file is for contributors only. And I could find no info on what that means. Anyone know?

But if you just want specs, geniology and lots of history Roger has it all at www.roger-russell.com/ , so much there that I downloaded his whole site and made a binder up for quick reference.

I have used that site and Roger Russell's site to learn a lot about McIntosh equipment - both excellent resources

I use 'em both, highly recommended, I esp. like the specs data listed in Roger's pages.
