This month, I'll be introducing a new line of tube gear (amps, preamps, and CD players) to my little shop - namely, Melody Valve. A couple of professional reviewers I know strongly suggested that I check this line out, and I must admit, I'm very impressed!

Within the next couple of weeks, I will have Melody's I300B integrated SET amp and their new CDM-10 tube CD player (which weighs 75 pounds!) here in the shop for folks to audition. And I'll be bringing in more Melody gear next year...

Let's see some prices:banana:

Well, the I2A3 integrated amp pictured above retails for $2999, and is Melody's most expensive such unit, with their other tube integrateds ranging in price for $1169 to $2899.

Also, the CDM-10 CD player that I mentioned earlier retails for $2650, and although there are lots of tube CD players nowadays, I think that this one might be unique in its use of 6SN7 and 5AR4 tubes.

Finally, Melody has authorized the sale of all of their products at 15% off retail through the end of December.

If anyone here would like to have a Melody catalog e-mailed to them, just let me know! :thmbsp:

I happen to be one of the lucky few and have the i2a3 running Klipsch Belles and/or Cornwalls. To put it simply - WOW. Sounds as good as it looks and she looks mighty fine. I may have found a keeper. (how many times have I said that!). This thing is a brute, a full 70lbs covered in gorgeous piano black. I would think a nice line to pick-up.

Well, I got my I300B 8-watt integrated SET amp on Saturday, and I've got to say that Melody does indeed seem to be "all that" - this hefty unit not only sounds superb, but the build quality and aesthetics are top notch! Needless to say, I am very much looking forward to receiving more Melody products in the near future...
