I'm not bitchin' but my total comes to 88 points [before Monday night] yet I'm only credited with 82? What's up. MikE

Because Rod Smith and Kevin Johnson were on your bench. Their fantasy points are calculated but they don't count towards your total.

Not really, keyshawn Johnson, Grammatica (field goal kicker) and phillies defense will all go towards my score tonight. I crushed you score wise in everything else if you take away the 10 points your kicker gave you and the 26 you got for the bills defense you'd have lost already. I only need 25 points and I have three possible major point scorers playing tonight ;)

See, you guys are getting it now. As the season unfolds, we should have a better idea of who to play or not to play. I'm getting creamed because I made some bad choices at WR and RB. After a couple games you'll know who's a player and whose not. Then there's injuries to watch out for.

Like I said, it's a lot of fun trying to figure out who will rock, but frustrating when your lock goes sour.

It looks like you'll need 70+ points to win and that a good D can be huge!

Hey Thor as Tampa score more points your defense's current score of 9 points will FALL. You need Keyshawn to catch at least 2 tds but if he does your Philly defensive points go down. In other words you're in a tough spot.:D

I dont think I'm doing too bad but then again I have no idea how to play, still I heard that! Though, while I may not know the mechanics of the "fantasy game" I've followed football for years. Football is football; you make the best calls and then the element of luck rears it's ugly head.

Help!!! I deleted a player and tried to pick-up another defense.
The player deleted OK but I can't add a defense. What the H*ll
am I doing wrong?

I see that. You should be able to go to "Pick up player" click on Defense and get anyone available; none are on waivers that need to clear.

Honestly, I usually do the drop and adds in one transaction; perhaps your one-sided drop messed things up? You may have to email Yahoo for help or maybe our Commish can fix up with his bag of tools?

But you look like you should be able to go and get???

You were right Pro Ac :( For everything my kicker & WR did to score points cost me points on defense. Are we able to switch defenses? I see we can bench them but no others are available? Because it would be nice to be able to change the defense when you see a lot of your offensive players are playing against your defense. Congrats on your victory Pro Ac.

Thor I had the exact same problem. I changed defences and took the Bills and my QB was their opponent in Tom Brady. Thor it's easy to change defences. With only 8 of us playing there's plenty of defences to choose from too. What I didn't realize was a player can get into negative points. If I'd known that I wouldn't have put Brady against the Bills D. That goof ball was a minus 6 points. I dumped him so if you'd like him Thor be my guest.

I got it guys, I may need a second defense more than a place kicker like Anderson. A good test vs Jets this week.

Lots of little tricks, aren't there

Carl: Remember, you can only play one defense at a time. You have to choose where you want your backups. In some leagues a kicker is squat; not so in others.

We score low, so a kicker here may outscore a RB or WR who doesn't find the endzone. Look at the boxscores; I'm sure you'll find some.

1 down, 13 to go for the playoffs!
