Santa is supposed to be good to me this year, so I am looking at cartridge options. As I have always liked Ortofons, two that I have heard that are supposed to work well on my Pioneer PL-630 are the MC10 Super and the MC3 Turbo. I don't need the high output of the MC3, but it does have a fine line stylus, vs the elliptical of the MC10. Now, does the better stylus of the MC3 negate the theoretical disadvantage of the higher output?
Thanks!
Erik

i love my ortofon mc 10 super! high output mc use more wire in the coilmatrix
to achive the higher output .less moving mass is better for sound

I do appreciate the value of lessening the moving mass. I am just curious if the better quality stylus on the mc3 makes up for the theoretical inferiority of the high output design.
