Two in particular I'm looking for:

Cantamos

A Good Feelin' To Know

I'm sure I'll have something of interest to trade. Let me know if you have a spare copy of either of these.

Thanks.

Jeff,

You didn't ask for this but I have an extra Legend lp.

I'm just guessing here, but perhaps it was the 1976 LP - Rose of Cimarron. :D

Wow Darren. Thanks for the offer, but I can't take an MFSL LP for nothing. How about an MFSL pressing of Steeleye Span - All Around My Hat in trade? One side is perfect. The other has a light scratch, but makes absolutely no noise on my system.

It's not the years gone by Sandy, it's the brain cells (speaking from experience). Actually, I'm no Poco expert. That song probably appeared on an earlier album. I've recently started replaying a lot of their LPs, and DAMN they were a fine group. Like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, lots of albums and lineup changes, but they produced lots of good music along the way.

Jeff, I would've gladly given you this with no return but since you've dangled a carrot...okay, deal. I'll get it out next week. Enjoy.

You're right. Emmylou Harris recorded "Rose" as well-both were on "YouTube", but the Poco version got pulled, for some strange reason. I was in Germany in summer '78, the Poco version was HUGE there-seemed like that & Joe Walsh's "Life's Been Good" was all you heard on the radio. A bud of mine got a NGDB album about '76 that had a bunch of their stuff going back to '66, including a song called "Collegiana" that I liked very much.

Jeff, I believe I have an extra copy of A Good Feelin' to Know. I'll have to dig it up (I have about 3,000 LPs, but have a good idea where my Poco LPs are) and listen to it to see what sort of shape it's in. I'll let you by Sunday (hopefully.)

I wish this thread had been posted a few months ago. There were several early Poco albums at the local GW in really great shape, and they were there for weeks.

I don't have any Poco to get rid of, but it's funny - I've got two lady friends that rent from the Furay family. One's bedroom was Richie Furay's growing up. The place oughta have a historical marker...
