I just Bought a marantz 2275 from ebay, I'm planning on pairing it up with the Ml-1c's I have been refoaming... Anyone ever try this combo before?:music:

A Marantz 22XX sounds great on most any speaker. :)

A 2275 is a sweet spot for Marantz vintage receivers, so I am sure they will pair fine.

Probably'll sound fine, although with Mac speakers more power is always better. You have the equalizer, right?

Yep I have the EQ, I've been running it with my 400 fisher which I love but way underpowered for the Ml-1c's...I'm moving up in power to the 2275 hoping it will be enough juice for those speakers... worse comes to worse, I'll still have the 2275 and I will just have to get something even bigger for the mac speakers...Have to admit this is really addictive... I wake up with the ebay shakes... sx-1250, mac 1900, what's next?:music:

I'm working on rehabbing a pair of ML-2Cs, in addition to some ML-1Cs. Even without the equalizer (I have an MQ-102) the 2C's shake the house, on a 50W amp. Haven't tried them with the 2600 yet.

I know the fisher 400 isn't enough power for them but it still sounds great through the ml's at 50% Can't wait to hear the 2275 through them...:music:
