If you haven't already, take a look at this thread:

Recent thread noticing Ebay scam (http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9634)

All you need to do is go here:

The Ebay Scam Item (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3047859352&category=39783)

And email the seller with a vague interest in the item, don't mention what the item is (he is scamming on a few) or the item number, just you absolute fascination with it.

With the traffic we have, he'll be overwhelmed with emails which may potentially save some sucker hoping for a plasma TV $1,500.

It's in our best interest to keep these folk away from audio as much as possible.

Here is my lastest reply to his refusal to do it COD:

"Steve,

Western Union is unacceptable to me. I’ve transferred money to seller who never received it and it took me a month to get the money back. Once they even said it was received by the seller but I never got the item. I never did find out if the seller or Western Union took my cash. I have a lot of money and may also be interested in a Plasma TV from your other auctions. We could do an Ebay escrow, I will eat all the escrow cost and you are guaranteed the cash as it sits in escrow waiting for you.

Let me know,

You friend in Christ,

Brad"

This guy has been scamming NAIM equipment and everything else.

Email him and tell him a company in Spain owes you more than the item is worth so you’ll have the check sent to him and he can cash it and send the difference along with the amplifier?

Just another scam that’s making the rounds.

If it’s too good to be true it probably is.
