Well it's my first day back at work after the little rugrats were born last friday (12/01) by emergency c-sec. They are in perfect health even if they came 6 weeks early:banana: . lets see some pics
First pic is mom with both, second is girl Zari (1.8kg), then boy Robbert (2.2kg) then me holding my little girl.
They will remain in ICU for some time still till their immune systems have developed a bit more.

Sandy G 01-22-2007, 06:44 AM Congrats, Gerrit (& Mama, of course, as well) !! I don't know what 4 lbs 11 oz is in Kgs, but that's what I was, plus 2 weeks preemie, but, uhh, I got over it...280 lbs, & 6'0" tall...Ain't nothin' sweeter than l'il babies...You're a lucky man...

Sandy, I'm not sure about the ounces but my calc say that 1.8kg = 3.9pounds and 2.2kg = 4.8pounds. And yes they do get over it. These two have been making steady and remarkable progress. They don't get no support other than feeds anymore. In the beginning there were lots of drips, tubes and oxygen but they ween of that pretty fast. Now I can walk in and pic them up at will, no more tubes:D :smoke:

You, my friend have been blessed. And as you already know - now begins the most important - and most rewarding job you will ever have.
