A local thrift got a donation of numerous unopened copies of an LP, Roger Sprung and his Progressive Bluegrassers. The label is
Showcase S-1.

I like to find a little history when I find albums like this. Mr Sprung is apparently a well known banjo player, but I haven't found anything on this particular LP or the Showcase label. I don't see a copyright date, but 1964 is the last date mentioned on the back cover bio. The blurb on the back cover is printed poorly and applied crooked.

Does anyone know about this LP ?
