Couple weeks ago I picked heard a song on Pandora from an album called Trio II. Being the inquisitive type lad I am I bought it from Amazon the next day.
The trio consists of Dolly Parton, Linda Rondstat, and Emmylou Harris.

What a voice on all three of these ladies and harmonizing that's just impeccably smooth. There's my 2 dollar word for the day.

Seriously though there are some great vocals on this album and on the original Trio that just came in today. Well worth the cost of admission and I don't do these reviews too often.

Maybe that's a good thing?

Wonderful voices, wonderful harmonies. You might also look for "The Western Wall" (Ronstadt and Harris) - I'm looking for it myself... it's around here somewhere!

Very weird, but I was thinking about that disk after getting home a few minutes ago, Probably only played it a coupla times since I bought it last year or whenever.

Picked up the first LP back a few months. Definitely a treat to listen to the three of them together.

Just put it on- pretty damn well-recorded as well.

Both "trio" albums are excellent, those are three old pros and it shows. The voices blend like one, and they are dead-on every track. Beautiful, hair-raising stuff. :music:

Trio is excellent and IMHO Western Wall is even better as I like the songs better with the same level of vocal qualities.
