Bill Nakdoc 02-05-2007, 03:18 PM How'd you like his wall of speakers? Glen introduced me to AK, for which I am forever grateful. HomerJSimpson 02-05-2007, 10:59 PM Yup, Glen's a great guy... Glen Wanna do some trading??? I want those Yammies... Wornears 02-06-2007, 10:03 AM Aw, you guys are going to choke me up. Thanks for the positive karma. Bill: I'm glad you are getting so much enjoyment out of the Frazier Mark Vs. It's great to know they are in the good hands of a fellow Aker and getting a good workout. You have a great powering source with your S-C tube receiver -- I'd like to hear them one day (and your monster Bozaks). NakDoc originally suggested I consider selling them to make room in the Speaker Wall for the big L200s. But, you must know that he used to sell ADS, and would NEVER say I should part with my L-810s <G>. But I may have to to fit in the JBL beasts, as you saw how big they are. NakDoc: Well, the Wall has a bit of an opening thanks in part to you. I'm fortunate you didn't throw me out of your technical shop the first time I sort of barged in and started asking questions about vintage audio gear. Thanks! Homer: I'll PM you about the Yammies. Although I have to say I'm concerned about getting too close to that speaker vortex you've created. I'm afraid Resistance Is Futile would win out if I got close enough to that critical mass you have accumulated. <G> |
