Ipods and FLAC, do they get along?

I have been considering portable music players, the Ipod being one. However I wonder, do they play FLAC files?

I have some FLAC tracks, and I would hate to have to rip my CDs again or convert them to MP3 or MP4 in order to take them with me.

Does the Ipod, or any other players suport flac yet? Anything under $150?

iPod supports FLAC if you load the Rockbox firmware.

Please post if you find a good source for that Rio Karma. I don't see it at Target, Walmart, Circuit, Best, or Ultimate. I have a Rio Sport and it's pretty much indestructable and sounds fine. Won't play the FLAC, though.
