Your welcome, I do agree, its quite interesting listening to what others are around the globe. Have fun with it :D

This is really wild. I wish I could find a method of just getting the public or underground stations.

It does become a little addictive. Found a good station in Cardiff,UK. then googled it and found I could listen to it streamed from there website.

As I said before a fun little site. Still listen to this site. Just cant seem to turn away heh.

I dont know if anyone has ever heard of this but it is basically all radio stations across with world that are online.

It can be quite addictive and it is fun to play with considering all the different types of music there is to listen to.

have only just found radio garden on facebook of all places .was going to start a new post but looks like i was beaten to it .

WTF?

So, radio.garden no longer works from PCs/laptops in Chrome?

All I get now is a blue screen that says "Please Rotate Your Phone"

FFFFF......:mad::rant:

works fine for me here
What are you using?

I'm using HP Laptop/Latest Win10 updates and Chrome browsers.

I've even cleared my cache and disabled firewall app.

Still get the blue screen for "Rotate Your Phone" and can't do anything.

Well, it looks like it's "just me"....again.

Everyone else in the family can launch and listen (from Windows to a Mac).

I even tried launching it in MS Edge and not Chrome - still the same thing. So, something got "set" on my computer and I don't know what the f it is.

I f'in hate computers.

Erik - I can see radio garden w/ FF, but w/ another browser I use, which (purposely) excludes Java, I cannot, and when I try to land @ RG using it the site I get a pop-up screen stating that I must have Java to use the site.

FWIW, I do almost all of my online radio streaming out of a service in Russia Federation, a place called Online Red (https://online-red.com/) and rarely stop in @ RG these days. @ Red Online don't give a shit if the browser is or ain't "got Java" runnin'.

Thanks for the additional info - always good to have alternatives in the back pocket.

I'm using radio locator now

Yeah, but it is of course only for mostly Russian and "former Soviet republics" content, the stuff I listen to (and list @ the Music Forums) daily.

But yeah, Radio Garden "demands Java", and one of my "stealth" browsers does not allow scripts, so that's that.

It's so awesome. Absolutely well implemented as far as being able to surf the world. I've been digging Arctic Outpost AM 1270 in Longyearbyen. It's basically a bunch of 78s being played from the early 1900s to the 1950s. Also Jazz Sakura in Tokyo is awesome if you want something similar to Yoko Konno and the Seatbelts. I've even been swapping from my desktop speaker setup to running it from my computer to the Aux input on my Lafayette LR-800. It's helping pass the time working from home. It definitely deserves more attention.
