I use small 1" diameter Dayton speaker spikes available from Parts Express. The model number is DSS6 and they come in several colors. You will need to install some wooden corner blocks for their threaded inserts. Enjoy!

Hi Brian, glad to hear from you. Your 890's are great speakers. If you are trying toget the best possible sound out of them, you need to check them from top to bottom, like the cabinets for leaks, yes, even if they are ported design, they still need to be tight. Stuff the port with closed cell foam and squeeze it down so that when you put it in there it will expand and seal cabinet, and that is when you check for air leaks. Mostly around drivers where they are mounted to baffle, most notably the midrange because it is sealed in its own enclosure. You don't want any low frequency leaking from woofer into mid which will add transient distortion. Next, you replace the electrolytic caps that are dried out. Now, as for finding some model sevens or 408B's, expect a very long wait.
