Yes, it did. You need to replace the belt that moves the tonearm across the record. Pop out the rivets and take the cover off. If you happen to have a Lego kit sitting around, a blue rubber band from that is about the right size.
i was reading your post about your turntable. i received the exact same model for Christmas and it seems it has having the same poblems you described. i was wondering if the replacing the belt worked for you or if not if you found another solution. thanks.
